not that goofy cuteness is automatically a bad thing for pop music, but when cute indie rock and goofy homemade costumes and evangelical christianity all happen to be combined together into a tidy little package, you’d think it could only be breathtakingly nauseating. and yet danielson is actually worth obsessing over, which really says a lot.
