some dilettantes may argue that the definitive video for instanbul (not constantinople) is the famous tiny tune adventures clip, but dilettantes are dilettantes for a reason. the official video (tim burton-meets-rugrats-meets-the margins of my seventh grade social studies notebook) has globes that smoke pipes, telephones that smoke cigars, monster policemen, green-and-pink dogs, punks jumping up from sewers, ken and barbie heads jumping out from burning buildings, talking pigs on billboards, scantily-clad ladies, businessmen who punch themselves in the face, and anthropomorphic guitars who get cut in half.
it wins, even if it lacks slow-motion synchronized jumping.
